If you joined me in January to try to Beat the Christmas Rush you will have 45 cards all done and dusted! It’s not too late to join – our aim is to make up to 5 cards each month ready for December. Here are my September cards >>>
We had some lovely linkies again last month and my favourites was this super card by Susi … I love Susi’s cards and I’m so impressed at Susi’s amazing effort to catch up with BtCR by making 17 cards in August!
Please do join me in Beat the Christmas Rush. :o)
The small print : please link back to my blog in your post, mentioning Beat the Christmas Rush. You can make up to 5 separate links each month :o)

So sorry this is late, I’ve been rather knocked for six by this darned shingles and sitting to scrap for any length of time is too uncomfortable. Anyway, here is my new sketch challenge which I won’t hold up any more waiting for my layout.
To enter my challenge and be in with a chance of winning one of my page kits see the page tab at the top here please use my sketch as a starter for your page or card and then leave a link on the linky widget below mentioning my challenge in your blog post. Please only enter new projects, won’t you?
I was torn between two of the entries for last month’s challenge but eventually decided on Sarah’s beautiful page as my winner.
Sarah – please have a look at the kits on the page tab above and choose one for your prize then email me your address on sue at suehr dot fsnet dot co dot uk.
I must also give a special mention to Laura who made a video of her super page! Wow!

Good morning and welcome to my blog. If you are here for the hop you should have come via Mary Anne’s blog Scrappy Sticky Inky Mess.
I have some calendar printables for you which can be found here – all you need to do is click on the link and a Word doc will open ready for printing Mac users, if you have Pages installed, the download should open in that so you can print it. If you don’t have Pages, or another way to open .doc files, you can download Open Office from the link at the bottom of the new page.
The calendars are 2014 blanks A4 sized and can be printed off as is for decorating, or you could insert your photos before printing. I’ve included a set with large numbers, another with small numbers and a third with no lines.
To continue with the blog hop, please leave a comment which includes your UKS username then hop onto Pooh Bear’s blog at The House of Bears.

This week the challenge on UK Scrappers was set for us by Scrappy Pat. Here is my page …
- scrapping about a friend Sarah who makes the scrummiest cupcakes
- journalling hidden in a pocket I have put a cupcake recipe in the little spotted envelope tucked behind the photo
- and using handwriting creatively on the page.
