My new great-nephew arrived at 4.41 this morning – 3 weeks early and very much in a hurry to see the world. He is called Leo Matthew and weighs 6lbs. Mum and baby are doing well. Sophia slept all through the excitement and has yet to meet her new brother.

I surprised myself and did Michelle’s challenge on the day she posted it. Then I decided I hated it – I didn’t like the dark blue card, the messy background, the floating title and the way the snowman seemed to take centre stage and detract from the photos. We had a great day’s cropping at Littlegreen yesterday. David and Brenda came with the Craft Obsessions shop which made it even better. I was pretty busy one way and another so only managed one page but I’m pretty pleased with it. I took a few pictures of the Happy Croppers which I’ve put here, too.
There’s no crop in August as school is closed :o( so the next one is September 8th. I’ll post details on a page tab at the top of my blog in a day or so.

The photos were taken on our trip to the Aquarium in Plymouth in June. It was a horrid day weather-wise and we were very glad to be indoors. Sophia loved it and was particularly interested in this tank where you could sit right inside an archway giving the feeling the fish were swimming all around you. ‘Just add H2O’ is the slogan of the aquarium education programme, by the way.
